	Point of impact change is more dependent on how straight to the bore your blocks are installed. Scope blocks are usually a little skewed to some degree.

	All a sight of any kind does is measure angles. 3 of them, line of sight, line of departure, and drop on target. If you make one side of the triangle shorter - different return to battery. It changes the angles. May be a small change but I can tell you from experience 1/4 inch difference in return to battery can be seen on target at 200 yards Boats

	The reason I asked how much difference it makes is sometimes I forget to pull the scope back on my 32-40 schuetzen rifle and I am curious how much it actually changes the point of impact. Seems the line of sight is the hypotenuse of the triangle and 1 inch or less in 7200 inches is a pretty small change as long as the scope is square to the bore and level.

	It's a small change and impact difference I noticed may well be shot falling on one side or the other of the rifles normal 200 yard group. Could be more mental difference than physical. From my Hydrographic survey days do know when you change the distance of one leg it changes the other angles. Probably over thinking it. Boats
