I am using Paul Mathews rate of twist calculation. Do I use the 150 or the 125 figure in a green mountain barrel with a 9.5 rate of twist to find the length of the bullet?  Thanks Hank45

It depends on how far you are thinking of shooting.
150 is probably good for schuetzen.  I use 135 in the greenhill formula for BP mid-range bullets.

Why not use what is working for those that shoot that barrel twist in their rifles?
