Bullet mould - tuneup help needed

Hello Everyone, spring is slowly coming to the east and I have been casting bullets outside  in the garage on the days above 30.
I am kind of new to the forum so I thought I would share my shooting background with you so you can better understand were I am at in casting bullets.
I never owned or really shot a gun until my Father gave me a Smith and a Burnside civil war rifles. He never shot them  they just hung on the wall in the basement. As a kid I would unscrew them from there mounts and run around the basement with my friends watching F troop. I am 55 now. I read up on them and found out that they could be loaded and shot and that people were shooting them. While I was fooling around with them I picked up a Lyman .50 Great plains rifle and really had a lot of fun with it at 50yds. It shot much better than what I was getting out of the carbines. One day while looking through some gun magizine I saw a ad from the Ballard Rifle and Cartridge Co. It showed a High wall color case hardened and with fancy wood and this gun could shoot out 200yds or more and I was hooked. I ordered a 38/55 with pistol grip dst #3win Douglas barrel and fancy wood. This was in 2005. After that I had a rifle custom made from a original Rolling block in .22LR This was made by Curt Hardcastle, This is a beautiful rifle that you just have to see. My latest rifle a Low wall Schutezen in 32/20-.308 Also by Curt, is a work of art. I am still learning how to shoot it and what it likes. I shoot my 38/55 in BPCR Silhouette and am a AAA shooter. I am told that I am unique in that I started out shooting black powder. Never owned a bolt gun. Never bought a box of bullets other than .22's. So I have casted a lot of bullets. All my moulds are Paul Jones, Who I can't reach any more but I am tring. When I cast I want the bullet to drop out when the mould is opened and it can and it will if you know how. I do not want to bang on my mould. I ran out of space here. 1 of 2

reach any more but still trying.

It is my understanding that due to health issues Paul Jones is no longer in the mould business. He took his Web site off the Net quite sometime ago.

There is a really nice article about Paul in the newest issue of Black Powder News. In fact he is on the cover. We will miss Paul he made a fantastic mould.
