	The clone of the Ideal 375166 ... (You need to *Login* or *Register* to view media files and links) So I ordered a double cavity! In a 1:18 twist, this bullet calculates to a 17.65 ratio. When I read about it in a Black Powder Cartridge News article, it took me 2 years to have get a group buy and have Lyman cut the molds. I have shot it repetitively at 100 to 300yds (less than MOA) with Swiss 1.5 & Goex Cartridge. I also shot 50 consecutive reloads with no patching/blow tubing from 200 to 500 meter silhouettes ... accuracy never faltered. All with vernier sights. 42grs of KIK 1.5 & FFg with a 1/8" felt wad is a very good charge Am confident with a scoped rifle the bullet will produce excellent groups

	I have the Lyman 378-674 which casts a 335g bullet of 20-1 Alloy....Great bullet with similar performance as you are suggesting. Just ordered a 1-14 twist barrel for my Ballard. (You need to *Login* or *Register* to view media files and links)

	John Boy Where might one obtain this mould, and at what cost. I have been experimenting with a 38/56 barrel in my CPA Stevens without much success and it's driving me nucking futts. Perhaps a different bullet will do the trick. Mike.

	Mick, here is a link to the accurate molds web site, (You need to *Login* or *Register* to view media files and links). Another mold you may want to look at is the NEI postel, I have that mold and it shoots pretty well in my 38-55. I think that I got that mold before Walt got out of the business and I don't have any idea of how the quality of their molds are these days. Hoch also makes a 300gr tapered bullet for the .38 and the mold is sold by CPA. It casts a very nice looking bullet but I have not gotten around to trying it yet. Maybe this summer I can get some loaded up and try them. Being a tapered bullet I am thinking that it would best be used in a barrel with a tapered throat, something I don't have, but I can seat it deep into the case to get it started into the rifling. 	Mick, here's the ordering page for the Accurate 38-320E mold ... (You need to *Login* or *Register* to view media files and links) A one cavity aluminum is $83 Gents, I have 10 other 38-55 molds, have cast & shot with all of them (fixed & breech) ... and the 375166 is the most accurate. The closest competitor is the Dr Hudson designed Ideal 375272 - tapered 310gr bullet

	All of my single shots shoot one tiny ragged hole with cast bullets ... it's just the following shots that tend to open up my groups ...

	Gents, here's a 200yd target I shot with the 1st range test of the Ideal 375166 using a vernier on a HiWall. The 3 shot group was 1.6 x 1.1" ... almost half the 2" MOA @ 200yds with iron sights (You need to *Login* or *Register* to view media files and links)

	John I ordered the mould for my 38/56 and it should get here in a few weeks, hopefully it will improve my groups, this calibre has been a bit of a problem for me so far. If the mould works I will erect a statue in your honour, if not I may request a lock of your hair and some fingernail clippings for the doll. Mike.
