fascinating,   so-o-o-o- there was a schuetzen-fest in South Carolina in 1907?   I wonder where these guys were from.   Thanks so much for posting that,  I really LOVE those old photos.

Great Pic. Does anyone know which New Jersey club these  guys are from, It looks like the D.E. Schuetzenbund?

With Hulalak - Pope and Hansen at Union Hill (Now Jersey City, NJ)  The shooting park there used to draw crowds close to 2000 people viewing the matches....

That's "D. A" for Deutsch-Amerikanische (German-American) not D. E.

The shoot in SC was apparently the national match, hence the yankees (or jahnkies). Good to see they actually all had German surnames. . .
