At auction at Julia's  are a nice Maynard #16 w2 barrels and a rack and pinion tang sight lot #1171. The other rifle is a Remington #3 Match Hempburn, lot#1172. James D. Julia auctions. I thought that you might like to take a look.

Along with a nice two barrel Bullard outfit, a nice Marlin Ballard #9, and a Zischang Rolling block. These are all within a few numbers of each other.
So many toys so little money Cry

Hi Ron -- Thanks for your "heads up" on the Maynard @ Julia's, .  .  . I do favor the Maynard by Mass Arms above all else, but my C.P.A. Stevens is my choice for "shooters"

Much appreciated !

I also like my CPA and enjoy Maynard's they are very simple in their construction and fun to shoot. A friend has a second model in .50 cal and I like shooting it.

The Zischang Rolling Block used to be listed on Tommy Rhoeles (sp?) website trueguns.com for the last few years. It was listed with a much higher price. I've stared at that rifles for at least two years.

The Hepburn #3 certainly looks totally refinished to me , all be it nicely. Being unsure of Caliber (38-50 R-H ?) also suggests a re-barrelling as Original Hepburns have Caliber clearly stamped on the bottom of the barrel ahead of forearm , ( and duplicated on barrel under forearm requiring removal )  and the barrel should be 30 inches as specified in an old sales list I am looking at  Not really sure if it is common place for an Auction company to mis- represent a firearm just according to Vendors description ? , Also Im not sure if a restoration decreases the collectible desirability ,  and selling price , as would be the case on an old Winchester lever gun ? Im sure it would be a nice shooter

It would appear that the #9 Ballard also is/was on TRueguns.com.
Is this fellow still in business ???
I see these guns still listed.
