	Thought for sure the new Hepburn book would answer my question. Didn't find the answer. H mark on my Hepburn. Anyone Have a Hepburn with similar mark? Joe.

	Hey Joe !!! I'm going out on a limb and say the Barrel was marked for a "Hepburn" (duh) !!! BTW; Is that the same Hepburn that you'd see in the background of all your pictures (back in the Day) ??? Ed....

But, it's the only mark I've ever seen on a Hepburn in that location. Nice old rifle with a perfect bore in 32-40 B&M. Joe.

	The guy fitting that barrel to a rolling block screwed up the shank. Since the Hepburn shank is shorter, but same dia. and thread, he stamped it with an H and sent it over to the Hepburn production line so they could salvage it. dave BTW: this is a totally uneducated speculation, no knowledge involved.

	Don't see any mysterious H anywheres, but do have a E Rem & Sons Hepburn barrel stashed somewhere that has the name of a dealer/distributor with a Saginaw Michigan address that was nicely roll-marked back when.
