We may not be the sharpest knives in the drawer but we know how to get out and have some fun.  UNSC Sunday the 9th mid winter silhouette shooting.
Black targets on white snow,,,,what a sight picture.

Enjoy

On Sunday we had a Schuetzen match and it was minus 29 below.

What was interesting was the Alberta Assistant Premier and Cabinet Minsiter showed up at our shoot to do some campaigning (two years before the next election).

The cold does strange things but even our politicians are tough.

Who is that guy second from the left?  I think I saw him in my mirror once.

Great match, my first try at silhouette.  Next time maybe no snow!

Yeah, okay Dave, lets see you Canadians do it with one rifle.  (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)

So you are now a one rifle man Joe.

So which of the Ballards, High Walls, Stevens or Sharps are you going to send me since you are now a one rifle man.

Of course if we can only use one shooter and one rifle, what odds are you offering to challenge Colleen (given her present medical situation)?

The RKS great-grandkids will be challenging you next.
There will be more Canadain Schuetzen rifles for sure.

Unfortunately the great grandmother passed away on the weekend. Ron Smith's mother passed away at 105 years of age.

Look at the group picture again, Dave.  I had nothing to do with Colleens condition.

But you still have not filled in what we are going to do with all your extra rifles  Joe.

Of course we Canadians will be using Colleen's family barrel.

Thick headed Canadian. Dave, notice in the group picture there is only one rifle for the dirty dozen. And the lady is try to take it away from the man holding it.

Berrrrrr looks cold!

   Joe.
