Most if not all were re-chambered to 32-40, the 32-20 is not at all user friendly and it is extremely hard on cases. I am not sure if Jack Hughes ( Jan Pritchard ) re-chambered his, if not it is the only one left and he to has been shooting one of his 32-40's.

I'll be sticking with mine for now. I'm not done experimenting with different powders/ bullets yet. Besides, its working well for me and I'm learning a lot along the way. CPA is still selling rifles chambered in 32-20 so it's interesting how I don't read much about other people's experiences. I don't see many listed in equipment lists/ match results.

I don't have a comparison to make as I never had a Schuetzen rifle chambered in 32-40. I'd be lying to say I haven't thought about re-chambering to 32-40. The thought has crawled up into my head more than once. You can't argue with the success of people like John Louis, Jan Pritchard etc. Now I need to make the case to myself again why I shouldn't re-chamber... Yet.

Jack Hughes has spent more time with the 32-20 than anyone I know and I would be picking his brain. He has shot a boat load of 250's at 200 yards in practice sessions. It is my understanding the matches Paul Schuttleworth shoots at his home range are only at 100 yards and that maybe why he is having so much success with it as he might not need to push it as hard?

Andy is that what they consider to be their home range and thank you on the clarification of them both shooting at both distances and doing very well. That was an unknown to a few of us out this way and had heard they only had access to a 100yds. at the matches shot at their home range.

Has anyone tried 2015 with the 25 cal.s or 32-20c CPA. It looks like it should produce lower pressures and have heard it is like by cf bench shooters? I have a lb and want to try it in my 25 hornet Ballard, any opinions or experience?

I think Paul Shuttleworth uses the 32/20 to fit Traditional Rifle class. One of the Western NY shooters could clarify

Mal they couldn't get the 30-30 Wesson to be competitive day in and day out. One day it would shoot very well and the next day not, it was also always on the ragged edge of to much pressure in order to get to perform and then pressure spikes became a constant issue. It just did not turn out to be one of those inherently accurate cartridges like the 28-30, 32-40, 38-55 etc. and not at all user friendly. It was quite popular for a very brief point in time but just didn't quite pan out.
