Help Identify this bag of RF cartridges
Dec 31st, 2013 at 2:22pm
Print Post
My local gun shop received a large bag of copper, rimfire cartridges from an estate sale.

They are in excellent condition but we can't figure out what they are.

Most of them are copper cases but a few look to be brass cases. The copper cases are headstamped "H" and the brass cases are headstamped  "U"

It most likely is 32rf Short, dimensions are almost a perfect match.

"H" for B. Tyler Henry (Winchester) & "U" for UMC.

RoyB,

You might be able to use that Stevens Favorite 32RF barrel if you grab that large bag of cartridges.

Yeah, but it's not fair that I didn't get to place my bid!

Only kidding about the $10 price......

What do you think they are worth (price per cartridge)?

I'm no cartridge collector, so don't really know.  However, 32RFs are probably the most common of BP cartridges, & the bullets of these look pretty corroded, so I'd guess the value is not great.  $10 may not be far off.
