There seems to be a lot of rf single shots around, What results have others had in converting a 32 rf to 32-20 in some of the stronger actions. Is the rf twist rate or bore dia. a problem for the 32-20?

Bore size and twist usually do not match up well for the 32-20, but 32 Colt fits the cylinder when converted to CF and you can chamber ream the chamber out to 32 S&W long easily available ammo. I did that with a H&A 932 and it shot just OK even though the rifle had a great bore, that was years ago and did not pursue the issue, just got a correct size and twist barrel blank, chambered & machined it to fit the action, replaced the original, it was a great killer of squirrels with 85gr SWC cast bullets out to about 75yds.
