	Joe Miller, I believe, on the Unertl Yahoo Group maintains a listing of known Unertl scope serial numbers in numerical order. In addition there are other interesting scope files on the Group ... (You need to *Login* or *Register* to view media files and links) If your scope isn't on the list - send it to a post that Joe started. It hasn't been updated since this last May. If fact also - not many folks post on the site

	I have Unertl #591, which is a very early small game with no logo. But I wont be joining Yahoo to load the info to the site.

	I have a Unertl 10X USMC Sniper scope ant it is not shown on the serial number list. Trying to get some history on it. Serial Number is 11XX. Excellent optics and looks great. Has Badger Ordnance mounts including a top rail for a Simrad. Appreciate any info

	I din’t know who Joe is to maintain the lis of Unertl scopes. The serial number is 1176 and is marked “USMC SNIPER”. I figure it was made in the 1940’s, but it is awesome. Any information will be greatly appreciated. Would the low serial be considered rare. I plan to recreate the M40A1 sniper rifle like I show back in 1984. Thanks.

	David Lewis I was not aware that Badger Ordinance makes or made externally adjustable mounts for Unertl scopes. Perhaps for the more modern scopes made for the military.

	I have a feeling he's talking about a late/recent issue internal adjustment sniper scope, not an external adjustment Unertl like we are familiar with.

	The old Yahoo Unertl group went away last December. Hopefully, someone saved the serial number list and makes it available again. I ended up downloading a copy in 2013 if anyone is interested. Jack

	gnoahhh - I think you're correct. His reference to Badger Ordnance mounts had me wondering. They are a more recent production.
