purity of dental lead foil

Has anyone used the dental lead foil that is used in x-rays, and how pure is it? Have a quantity available to me. Looking at it, it appears to not have any type of coating on the foil. Thanks for your info.

Bob, the last batch of dental X-Ray shields I melted and aged was Bhn 8.2. Reading on the Internet, different manufacturers use different alloy ratios

Thanks for the info. Might use it for mixing with lino for gas check bullets in the bolt guns.

Dirty bullets?

I've known muzzleloading types who cast RBs (round balls, not rolling blocks) from dental foil. Soft enough for that, apparently.
