Is my GOEX cartridge the right vintage?

I saw on an old post on good vs bad powder and it mentioned GOEX cartridge after 2002 was good. Well I have 50 pounds of this stuff from B4 children and am wondering if it is good or bad. The bottom has the code 05-03 and 94DE05B (or 8). Anyone know if the 05-03 is May 2003 (I thought I bought the stuff B4 that.

Thanks,
Charles

Did more searching and unfortunately it is 1994 December 05 shift B. It is older than I thought. Oh well, I plan to shoot it up anyway.

Charles, there is nothing wrong with 1994 CTG.  It was made in the Moosic, PA plant before they moved to Minden, LA.  The Charcoal was from Roseville.  When they moved to LA, they changed there charcoal supplier to a company in Canada.  Believe they used this company for 2 or 3 years and the quality of all Goex grades suffered.  Then in 2001 the quality of their powders turned around.

I'm not a big fan of Goex powders but I scrounged up as much CTG as I could before it was discontinued in 2010 or 2011

Absolutely. The way you tell if it is any good is to judge by the results on the target.
