Hepburn Forearm.

I haven't received my Hepburn book yet, which would probably answer my question but need to ask you Hepburn experts. Did the plain sporting rifle ever have a forearm that looked something like the High Wall with an ebony tip insert? Thanks. Dale.

Yes, later Hepburns deleted the steel forearm tip and got a horn inlay instead. Some PG models also had a horn V shaped inlay in the grip too.

Late Hepburns can also have a steel butt plate like the Remington model 30 bolt gun.
