New member & poster! I will be adding photos of a few of the nicer ones later! Enjoy Smiley

Single Shots in my life …

Note: Italicized are no longer in my possession

Original:
Ballard #10 38-55 Schuetzen, original windgauge front sight, ladder aperture rear sight, nice wood & checkering, half pistol grip, palm rest, Swiss buttplate

BSA Martini Boys Cadet/Club Target Rifle 22LR, tight match chamber, but now my brother’s toy to enjoy

German stalking rifle, single-shot bolt action of ~9mm bore (chamber not cerrosafe cast yet), double-set triggers, by SOUP (Source OUnknown Pedigree (no maker’s marks, but have not researched the proof marks as of yet …)

Maynard 1882, 2-barrel set in 22 Short & 22LR

Mauser Boys Training Rifle, single-shot bolt (pull striker to cock) 22LR

Stevens-Gould 10” barrel single-shot pistol 22LR, s/n < 23K, buttstock has slot for shoulder stock

Winchester Pope 22LR Schuetzen High Wall, extra fancy wood, double-set triggers, Pope-marked barrel, palm rest

Winchester High Wall Take-Down Winder Musket 22LR, forend ‘sporterized’ (by the previous owner) with typical Win forend. Only paid $150 in 1979!

Modern/Reproduction:
CPA Shuttleworth 38-55 Schuetzen, left-hand model 52 stock, #4 profile octagonal to round barrel, fancy English walnut, ball & spur lever, palm rest, Baldwin sights (build in process)

H&R Classic Target rifle 38-55, with factory ultra-fancy stocks (seriously!), it wasn’t the shooter I hoped, so I sold it for $$ towards the CPA

Ithaca 49 Saddleguns, 22LR and 22Mag (for varmints) All sold! Used to buy walnut stocked ones when <= $100, would re-finish & use them, even gave a few to my nephews, until I obtained more expen$ive toys, haha!

Remington/Baikal ‘Spartan’ SPR-18 single-shot 308 (my hunting gun)

Ruger #1V in 223, beautiful wood, 1:14 twist w/ far too long throat – a shooter it wasn't!

All of my single shots shoot one tiny ragged hole with cast bullets ... it's just the following shots that tend to open up my groups Wink ...

Thanks for the warm welcome guys!

I forgot one, one of the rare Uberti Low Wall Schuetzens, this on in the lowly 45 Colt ... what a horrible caliber for a rifle with that twist it had ... don't flame me, haha! Pretty rifle otherwise, for a repro. Stole it cheap and made $300 selling it Smiley !
