John:

Why do so many shooters only shoot scope and not iron sights?

Challenge for old eyes?

Dave I do think it does have to with the eyes and age. I had a stroke and have permenamt vision loss in my right shooting eye so I had to give up on the Irons. I seem to be getting back up to par with scope even though my dot looks like a figure eight, it took some getting use too. I wish I could still be shooting Irons it was real hoot once I taught myself where to hold off for several different conditions as it gave me an edge.
