Pope Ballard Rifle Question

Greetings,

I recently acquired a beautiful Schuetzen style Pope Ballard on a #7 Long Range A1 Ballard action.  I am wondering if there any Pope records out there that I could reference tying the actual Pope barrel to the A1 action as I also have all the original items for the original gun...... barrel, foreend, buttstock, front sight and rear sight.  It would be nice to be able to tie them both together if I could for posterity sake.  Nonetheless, it was an amazing find that will be an heirloom to me forever.   Any help or information would be appreciated as I have never owned a Ballard and am new to them.  Thanks!

The person to contact would be Tom Rowe. Box 207, Sugar Grove, VA 24375. e-mail him at Rowebooks@yahoo.com.  He is writing a book on the Pope rifles and is looking for any information on Pope rifles.  Carefully pull the foream off and look for any identifying letters and numbers.  Bob
