I use to make up Emmert lube for pan lubing. I've grown lazy in my old age. What commercially available product do you recommend for pan lubing?

Javalina or SPG you need to evaluate each under your particular conditions. Both are good lubes.

I've only used SPG...Works fine, but nothing to compare it to.

Pan lube with Alberta Schuetzen Lube. You've got me interested. Where can I get some? I've been poking around at various supplier's web sites and so far have not found anyone who carries it.

There are indeed two Americas. Simply put, it is not the haves and have nots. The two Americans are in reality divided into those who do and those who don't.

Why not just post it the contact info here for all who might be interested (like me)?

Just ran out of SPG and have loaded up some BSC (Big Sky Components) lube to give a try. The lube that Shiloh Sharps sells (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links) also gets good reviews by the folks on the Shiloh forum.

Keep in mind what works for BP does not always work for smokeless and vice versa. I am not seeing any clear recommendations going either way. Also what works in mild weather has drastically failed when it gets to 100 and above for a good couple of months out my way based on my personnel experience. Javelina had all of the temperature ranges covered and it is easier on the pocket book  than most. This is for smokeless powder use, I have limited knowledge of how it works for BP so I will leave that opinion to those in know.
