First, I would like to know the correct spelling of Jerrys last name. I bought a mold from Bill Loos from Jerry's estate and he spells it Simons. In the Re/De capper thread, It's been spelled both ways and in a old SSN I saw it spelled Simons.

Back to the mold........ did Jerry/Jake ever make any molds for himself?

The mold I bought from Loos is 33 cal, cylindrical (not tapered) and totally unmarked. Did anyone know Jerry well enough to know what molds he had?

It's a PB spitzer, made on blocks that look like they may have been unmarked Lyman DC, and looks like this:

Jake was a good machinist but I never heard of him recutting molds. It would be more likely that someone else did it to Jakes dimensions. My bet would be either Darr or Sabonious both cut molds on Lyman blocks.
