Did you do a chamber cast? I have a Hopkins and Allen single shot in .25-20 SS that I just bought some ammo from Buffalo Arms that had a long neck compared to my chamber cast (not sure if my chamber has been modified), just shot one in my bullet trap and it formed to my chamber, which is a straight case then re-sized it in the C&H die set (also from B.A.) and it looks better and closer to my chamber than the loaded ammo.

I see Pacific shows a reamer for it (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)
I'm going to e-mail them to see if they will send me a drawing because SAMMI does not list it. It could be because it is to old, I think?

Why not get an original round and measure it? They do iron out a bit on Firing though.

   Here is what I believe to be a chamber print for the 25-20SS, the two original loaded rounds I have in my collection (1-Remington, 1-UMC) both measure smaller by .005" to .007" at all dimensions except the case length which is within .002", rim thickness measures .047" on the UMC and the Remington is .049", sorry print I have does not show the thickness. Hope this helps you out.

I contacted Pacific and they sent me a drawing of the .25-20 SS, I'll see if I can load it to this post? I'm not sure it is going to work. If you send me a e-mail, I should be able to send to you.
