I went through the process several times no response from the forum or access

Gave up, is there another useful BPCR forum ?

I have yet to hear anything back.  There is a relatively new forum called HistoricShooting.com which might be what you are looking for.

Assuming you guys are talking about (The FORUMS at BPCR.net) ?  Pretty sure the administrator is the same as the one in charge of the absent WSU forum.

Robert, I went out and looked at BPCR.net and it doesn't look like it is a very active site, some of the posts I saw were over a year old, not many this year let alone this month.
That being said, have you taken a look at the forums at the Shiloh Rifle site? Here is a direct link, (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links) or you can just go to (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links); and click on the forum link on the home page. There are a lot of people on there and just tons of good information. The most recent posts were on shooting at a mile. I don't know how long it should take to sign on to be able to post on the site, I have been waiting for about a week and I hope it doesn't take too much longer as I have some questions I would like to ask. However, it is still a wealth of info for  the BP shooter.

And the status of Wyoming Schuetzen Union - it has been a 404 Not Found for weeks
Plus Schuetzen Powder LLC forum is now complete history too.
The Shiloh & Schuetzen forums irk me.  There was a ton of BPCR archive data on Shiloh.  They did a software upgrade in 2010 and all prior archive went in the toilet.  Schuetzen was rabid with hackers and is probably the reason James canned it even though I sent him the software Mod to block hackers

Here's a new single shot forum you might want to register on and say hello ... (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)

So that leaves the Infamous ASSRA Forum, plus Cast Boolits still alive and viable

But Walter they are dropping like flies.  Shiloh JUST to be a great informative forum but it has changed.  Dan Theodore left in a huff, Kelly Roos has been heard in over a year, the great information is the pre 2010 archives was excellent but that was trashed, etc, etc.  Now it's just primarily match information and 'who's going'

At least the reference files on bpcr.net are still intact - good stuff.  But yes, the threads are weak and few posts except for Dan Theodore in the Classifieds who seems to be cleaning house of his 'stuff'

Have to say, after the morning newspaper and with my 2nd cup of coffee - ASSRA Forum is the 1st forum favorite link I open! Smiley

I start at the top of my bookmarks and work my way down but I get here before my morning walk.  This place is an informational gold mine.

Now, if anyone knows about 1898 Krags, even though they are Off Topic on this forum, I'd appreciate a PM.

Well over a year ago I tried registering using three different logins from three different computers - I had the same experience as you did. Never got any replies from admins to let me in, so I gave up. Hell with them - there's other sites out there - I live on Cast Boolits...

Well, to reopen a 9 year old topic.   

I tried registering twice using different login info and got the same response:    

"Your account is currently inactive, the administrator of the board will need to activate it before you can log in. You will receive another e-mail when this has occurred."

Apparently the "administrator" is asleep at the wheel.   

I only tried a second time because it looked like there are some interesting posts.

I just went on bpcr.net.
Got right on. Note that I have been a member there for many years past. The good 'ol  Dan T days,etc.

I was on the BPCR forum for probably 15 years; maybe I still am.   It seems pretty dead so I don't even bother looking there anymore.   This forum and the Shiloh one more than satisfy my needs for information.
