I posted about 6 months ago or more about this powder, because it showed that it was pretty close to 4100 on my Quick Load program. A lot closer to 4100 than to current #9. John asked what type powder it was and I couldn't say because the shelves around here were bare and that was before the school shooting.

So, I ordered it a couple of months later and it just came in today. SingleShotTom posted a month or two ago about it and said it was showing promice. I will be trying it out in the next week in my 33, also.

It's a very nice looking powder that's made in Belgium. As the picture shows, it's looks like WC 820 (H108) but is a different color. The "old" #9 that I have looks course compared to both of them.

Frank never thought about using it in my 32-40 rifles as I have used only VVN110 for years.

But it is my go to powder for 44mag with heavy bullets 280-310gr, it works so well I purchased a couple 4lb cans last year.
I like it because burns very clean compared to #9, 296 or 1680 for these loads and it flows though my Harrell's Schuetzen measure like water.

I think with a little work up you should find loads that work for your rifle, please keep us informed on your progress!

I just found new loading data info on AA and Ramshot powders and copied this off of it. Can someone look on their can of 4100 and see if it is made in Belgium?

Hi Frank,

The Accurate Arms website shows AA#4100 as made in Belgium.
