Is this my "Waterloo"?

I've stumbled into the 14mm Wanzl Rimfire!  I have seen some examples of cartridges that use either a 22 cartridge (sans bullet and powder) or a Flobert round as a "primer".

I checked with Rocky Mountain, but they only do centerfire cases.

Anybody have a suggestion (besides ... just forgetaboutit!)

Thanks!

Another option is Bob Hayley of Seymore, Tx.  He makes adaptors for just about anything.  His phone number is 940 888-3352.

Thanks for the info thusfar.  Fred, that is a very interesting link!  Bnelson ... the case is one problem, but the "rimfire" aspect is the REAL klinker in the furnace!

Bob Hayley has made several rimfire cases for me in different calibers.  He sets them up to use a blank rimfire shell in some sort of a "Donor" case.  I've done similar things with 44 rf Ballard and 35 Allen rinfire cases with good luck.  He claims to be able to make cases for any rifle.  I'd give him a chance.

I'll give him a shot at it (pun intended!!)  I do  have some machinist drawings and some photos.  I'd sure like to not end up with a rifle in a caliber I can't shoot.  That would violate my prime directive!

Thanks!!!!
