Prairie Dog / Scheutzen loads ?

Scheutzen seems easy to load for, compared to prairie dogs.  ONE or TWO fixed ranges vs a continuum of distances with a slow moving high-arch bullet.

Planning on taking SOMETHING Scheutzen on the annual prairie dog hunt (South Dakota) in a couple of weeks.

Hmmmm.  .405 Winchester (#1 and HW) or .30-06 in a HW.  Top two contestants so far.  Need a couple more range days to make the selection.

.22LR is too expensive to shoot for prairie dogs.

Doesn't seem to be any problem finding Tenex (at $0.50 per shot).

I might have to do that, was hoping for something in lead plain based.
