changing bullet lube

I made a mistake and didn't specify lube when placing an order. Assumed big old BP style bullets would be lubed with BP lube...

Anyway, melting the lube off in hot water is very messy. Anyone have an easier/cleaner method? I've sent emails to a couple of guys I know that might be able to use the bullets asking if they want them. Hopefully one will take them off my hands.

If your rifle is not in 7.62 and you can't hit what you are aiming at with de-linked machinegun ammo you are a pretender.

Second on a heat gun--the stuff runs out like water.
