     What little 25-20 SS I have shot in my original high wall and my on-again, off-again low wall project has all been fixed (factory) ammunition.  I have plans to finish the low wall and high hopes for the high wall but as with so many projects that we used to discuss with our old friend Joe, I'm still waiting to get "a round tuit" and finish them.  I plan to try breech seating at that time, but I do have FL sizers and muzzle resizers and seaters to load fixed ammo as well.  I don't recall ever firing a single round of 25 WCF.

I also got to spend time with Joe in finishing my 600 Rem 350 Mag. Joe got an original recoil pad for me. I realy respected the man and his opinions. I can say nothing nregative about him
If you are going to shoot fixed start with a tight neck chamber. Make a bullet seating die with the reamer used to chamber rifle. It will be as good as BS.

Just tried shooting my original Stevens 44 today as fixed ammunition using 7.5 grains IMR 4227 and a 85 grain flat nose bullet. Rifling is a bit worn and I had no wind flags to dope the wind today. The 10 shot group size was only 2.429". I have to build or buy a breech seater to test it as a breech loader. She has to do better than fixed.

Still it was fun shooting the little popper with a Lyman 2 rear sight and a front blade sight. Blade sight is a bit too course for accurate shooting.

Schuetzendave, if you can find a piece of quarter inch stock  the right length, you can make a plugged case out of it and just use the action to push the bullet into place.  That is one of the few real advantages that the $+3V3n$ has over the more refined high wall, right led ball?
