Well taday I finaly had time to shoot the 32 mill gain twist.   couldnt find the correct powder H108 or aa9  so i used a dab of Uniq, 6 gr, with 3 different weights of boolets,  used a foan called fun-foam from Micheals craft store, breach seated 15  with 5 of each weight, 110yds, all three about .8 inch.   not bad for the first try..  used a 6 power Unertil scope... Wink

Good deal!  Your groups can only get better, especially if you start using "bullets".

I've often been tempted to try Hodgdon Lilgun powder in my .32MS. Have had very good results with it in several 32/40s. Charges run 10 to 12 grains when using a 200 grain bullet.

Did you try a tapered bullet?

On one of my 32-357 short I have found that 9.6 grains of LilGun with WWSP works real nice.
eazy on cases too.

When I was looking for a replacement for my dwindling supply of WC820 I tried both Lil gun and 4100. Shooting one one day and the other the next.
I got larger velocity spreads with the Lil Gun than I did with the 4100. This also transferred to larger groups on average. I will admit that I did not try the gamut of primers and another primer may have worked better than the Fed 205Ms I was using. However the 4100 gave great groups so that's what I stayed with.

I may try 4100 one of these days. So far have not seen it at the local sporting goods store.  Who makes it and what type is it?

Being a tight wad (certified), I got on the Lilgun kick because the powder was a couple bucks cheaper by the pound, it burns very clean and use less than 4227.  I say it shoots clean, as in the barrel looks clean after a shot. When cleaning, Lilgun seems to leave a lot more black.....graphite? In the barrel.  Don't remember ever getting any leading when using Lilgun either. I figure, what could stick to that black coating in the barrel.  Cheesy

I've tried very hard to find AA4100 here in the PNW but, to no avail Sad I've even tried to order it from Sportsman Warehouse but, they wouldn't even though they carry about all the other AA powders Sad  Sad I even checked at two big sporting goods dealers in Reno last Aug. Still no luck!!!

I'd really like to try it Smiley

I just picked up 5lbs from Brownells a couple weeks ago. Looks like they still have some in stock.

I had Ron rifle a couple blanks I installed false muzzles on.

Rifled false muzzles or just glorified crown protectors.

A false muzzle is a section taken off the blank, pinned to the barrel and then reamed and rifled with the barrel.
