Just got this rifle from C.Sharps Arms. 45-70 with pack cased receiver and Badger barrel. Rear sight is a Soule sight from Jim Kelley.
Looking forward to spending the upcoming shooting season behind this one!

Nice one! And with an action that strong you can load that ol' charcoal burner up as far as your shoulder can stand.

Fine looking rifle. The folks at C. Sharps build excellent quality rifles. Anytime if near Big Timber, Montana, folks should be sure and stop in for a visit n' tour of the place. They have the welcome mat out all the time. One of the main things I appreciate with C. Sharps, is they will custom tailor your rifle to your preferences, building it the way you want it. Yes, I do shoot a C. Sharps rifle - Model 1877 in .40-70 SS. Couldn't be more pleased.

Had a C. Sharps '85 in .45-70 that I let go. That thing would really shoot and is one of them I wish I had kept but traded it for a CPA in .32-40 so it wasn't a total loss. REALLY do like the .32-40.

Nice rifle, looks like you need a barrel level too!
I have purchased 4 new rifles from C. Sharps and one used one. All were fine guns and I have found them great to work with. wouldn't consider of the the other Big Timber guns these days, least not since they wanted to sell me a new barrel to replace the bad barrel in the gun they built for me...
SS
If your rifle is not in 7.62 and you can't hit what you are aiming at with de-linked machinegun ammo you are a pretender.

Going over that way this summer to visit family. Spending part of a day at C Sharps will make it even a better trip.
Thanks for the suggestion! mb3240
