My brother's father-in-law found a Remington revolver, 1858 model possibly, in Cow Creek?, MT when he was doing some dozer work at a crossing. It had been run over more than a few times by lots of stuff before he ever got there with the dozer so it was pretty well squashed but you could sure tell it was a Remington. Now how in the world would that revolver have ended up in the creek that way? Makes your imagination go crazy.
