Nothing wrong with .22's.  That's all I have except this one.  By the way coincidence, I like your name, I live in Broken Arrow.

I'm another southpaw, approximately 1 in 12 shooters are left handers, but no commercial company caters for us at all. Usually it's an expensive conversion on a standard rifle that has to convert it to being a lefty's gun. I don't think you'd have any problem selling that RB as a left handed .22.  Smiley

Looks good. You definitely have not lost the touch. That inside curve where the cheek piece rolls over the comb is not easy to do.

Wow, I hope mine turns out something like that!
These are great looking pictures and will help me a lot, thanks!
What tools do you use, and do you have any "cast" on the stock?
As a lefty I think I need some cast; I'll probably have that thing looking like a laid over hockey stick, heh.

Hi Rek
Sorry for the delay.  Been sick. I use plain carving tools, vises and etc. Do have a drill press, radial arn saw, router and router table and etc.  I am not sure what you mean by "Cast".  If you mean patterns, no I don't have any patterns.

'Cast' refers to the slight bending of the comb line.  'Cast off' is normally for a right handed shooter and is usually around 3/8"  'Cast on' would be for a left-hander.  It's measured but running a long straight edge from the front sight through the 'V' notch on the rear sight (or the center of the hammer) out to the butt of the stock.  Then you measure the center of the butt in fractions of a inch either to the left or the right of the center line to get your 'cast'.  If there isn't any, you don't have any. Cheesy

Thanks Walter for giving me a headache.  Never thought of it that way.  I just shoulder the poor thing until it feels right to me which is a little off center and forget about it.  It seems it should be a little off center in one direction or the other depending on whether its for a a "Righty" or a " Lefty".  I do remember when I was in the army, service rifles were somewhat of a pain in the butt shooting at long range.  Didn't make much difference out to a couple of hundred yards.
