1885 Low Wall

This is a rifle that Steve Durren built for me on an original Winchester action. The set triggers and lever are new. It's in 25-20 repeater. The scope mounts are to fit a Unertl Vulture.

Donnybrook,

Are the sights Kelly or am I mistaken?

Beautiful rifle. One question though. Is the block one of the earlier styles such as the Hi Wall style? I machined one for mine that resembles it.

Thanks,
JMH

The sights are Kelley and the block is an earlier one, so it's higher than later low walls. The receiver is also a shallow side.

Very nicely finished.
What barrel and dimensions/profile/twist? You will have to let us know how it shoots.
My 25-20WCF Low Wall will look similar, though with a standard lever and SST.

Love the look and finish of that low wall. I've always prefer'd the low wall over the hi wall.  The lever and double sets really make it special.  The wood helps a little too.  Roll Eyes  Has the look of a very serious target rifle.
