I pray that all you folks feeling the results of Sandy are protected from above. I could not even begin to imagine what a challenge it must be for some of you while looking at the news reports on TV.

I hope the best for each and everyone of you and your family's. This also goes for your friends and neighbors in your individual communities.

Hank45 - where are you located? I'm about 15 miles inland from Atlantic City. Did not even lose power, which is quite unusual in a good storm down here. Some wind and rain until the eye passed over us about an hour, or so, ago. Couple of branches down, but not floodng. Much worse in the de rancho(sp?) we had in the summer when we lost power for 8 days. Rain and wind (20-40mph) until Wed evening and then will have a nice weekend. Just in time for our .22rimfire silhouette match. As usual with a hurricane, most of the damage is at the shore from the storm surge. Thanks for all the good thoughts.

Well it's over in Virginia Beach.  4 day blow, one of the longest I can remember.   No damage my place, storm skirted us did more damage North.

I lubed and loaded 38/55's most of the day Monday.

Club match Sat checking today to see if the range is OK. We have two ponds with dams you have to cross to get to the CF range.  Whole lot of rain. If the spillway did it's job we are ok.

Here in Central VA we were ready for it, but if you look at all the maps, there is a small area that literally seemed to be an "island in the storm" where both wind and rain were quite minimal.  Thankfully, I was on the "island" for Sandy.  Thoughts and prayers to those North of us especially who were not so blessed.
