I love the lines, a lovely looking rifle indeed and worthy of praise.

Cedar Creek are you Cedar Creek screw and machine. Wow I admire your work on that rifle, nothing looks out of place. I see so many where the forend is to long, to short, to fat, to skinny  and you nailed it, same goes for the butt stock.

Very nice rifle, nice styling. Have to ask. What scope mount is that? Looks sort of like a Malcolm but different.

The scope and mounts are from MVA.

Very nice. What barrel and profile do you have? Mine is quite similar right down to the 28" MVA scope. Has Schuetzen wood on it, but will be changed over to a shotgun style before next season and the Scheutzen wood will migrate to another rifle. Obviously, great minds think alike. Wink

Thanks for the compliments,I'm not from screw and machine, just from Cedar Creek Nebraska.I'm proud of the rifle myself, but the little match that my 9 year old son and I had today was priceless. Here is a picture of our range at the house

Amazingly similar. Mine is a GM #2 profile. Did you build the rifle? Mine was built by Keith Kilby at the Wyoming Armory.

After hearing about the match with your nine year old sold, all I can say is wow that young man sure owns and outstanding rifle.

Time to get busy building one for yourself now.

Two from OK. Are you in OK? Am also from OK.
Nice range. Won't find many of those in people's backyards here in NJ.
Will guess that your son will loan that rifle to you for the occasional .22BPCR silhouette match.

That is so cool and you have to be an exceptionally proud dad. I might add by being around this for quite awhile there is no guarantee that, that new rifle won't end up with his name on it as well.

Believe it or not the targets were free. There was a semi local conservation club that had them. They had to stop shooting them because of insurance reasons. They were in a pile of metal that was going to be sold for scrap.Needless to say I rescued them.I did sand blast and paint them first. The animals are actually made fron stainless and each animal has its own sensitvity settings. They are placed  as follows:chickens 75 yds, pigs 115 yds, turkeys 165,and rams at 200 yds. They have provided more fun than you could ever imagine Smiley

That backyard range is great.  I'd build one except the neighbors are too many and close.

Thanks for sharing.
