Thanks guys. Dan builds beautiful rifles. Nice guy too. We shot pellet rifle silhouette in his shop a couple years ago.
I bought it from a friend who had it built in 2000-2001. His last name is reflected in the Parker 2000 inscription on barrel and Parker 2001 on top of action.
Rear sight is one Dan Zimmerman was making at the time. I think he uses Baldwins now.
Not sure about the finish. Does look like metalife. I will check with Dan and see what it is.

That is a beautiful rifle. Extremely well done wood, engraving, fit and finish. Just curious about the rubber recoil pad on a .22 LR. Is there a story there? It is so well done that it does not look out of place.

If you look at the 3 gun set Dan has listed on his website the 2 centerfire guns have pads and the rimfire doesnt. I wouldnt put a pad on any Hepburn or vintage style rifle and agree it looks out of place. Not sure what the logic was for the pad especially on a 22. But The price was right for a ready to go rifle.

The original owner advised the receiver finish is nickel.
