Hi,

I scored for this match and, let me tell you, John's back-to-back 249's were the closest things to back-to-back 250's I've ever seen.  Each target had one errant shot; each of these was out by perhaps half a millimeter.

The winds were not bad for this match but the mirage was ferocious.  While the rest of us were ruining what's left of our eyesight trying to set the crosshairs on the bouncing ball at 200 yards, John was just calmly lobbing 'em downrange.

Way to go John!

Thank very much Gentleman, the high point of the match was being in the company of good friends.

I hope to see you soon Frank and good thing you didn't come down for this weekends match the forecast was for 107 on match day but I am not sure if we hit it or not.

ledball I have shot allot of matches with George at our club over the years and he was a hard one to get past at times. I have not seen him since 2004 and I believe he started shooting jacketed bench rest around that time frame. I heard he developed some serious health issues and did not shoot at all for quite sometime. He is closer to the San Diego group and I believe that is his home club. He did return to shooting there but I have not seen his scores posted for quite sometime and I hope all is well with him.
