Stevens Tip-Up Ladies Model 14

22 LR bored to 25 Stevens. As near as I can tell, it is original other than the bore. No nickel left on butt plate, little left on the trigger guard, barrel bluing is mostly gone with some light freckling. Wood and many small parts stamped 14. This was the top end model with fancy wood, tang rear and Beach sights. Showing wear but an honest, unmolested rifle. I will not have it sleeved.
Thanx all for the compliments.

All original or refurbished/restored? Rechambered in the past or recently? Very nice looking rifle.

Beautiful rifle. Appears original, or excellent minimal restoration. It really adds fire to the earlier question. Would you reline it or not? Don't know what I would do.

Very nice. I've only ever seen one Ladies model in person. A pretty rare one indeed.

Beautiful rifle. Not relining is a good decision. Find some ammo and shoot it! Available on Gunbroker but not cheap. Bought most of mine for around $1 a round. I don't shoot the .25 Stevens a lot but I do definitely shoot them.

I know my references specify that the Model 14's were optionally available from the factory in .25 Stevens - is your bbl marked for the chambering & if so, which one ? (.22 or .25)

.
