Lots of talk on here about rollers and not being able to find good one. I just got lucky and picked up a really nice Model 7. When I get it I will post pictures. And if your wondering, it is a real one, serial numbered 300xxxx as it should be. Complete with the original sights to and a very nice stock I may add.
The good buys are still out there ya just have to dig a bit. That is the fun of collecting, you just never can tell what you will run into. In the last couple of years I have ran into and purchased some rare ones including a Farrow, a Frank Wesson Mid Range  serial numbered just under 50, a fully engraved roller #1 action , and an early one and others. I love our hobby.

Mike,

Congratulations on finding a #7 roller! They've got a feel all their own. Can't wait for you to fill in the details.

Ballards may be weaker,
but they sure are neater!

I'm looking forward to seeing it! #7's are tough to find, especially decent ones! Spendy when they do show up!

Great find, I look forward to seeing pics. Those #7s look really strange, but very cool indeed.
