They really aren't that hard to assemble. If you want sufficient info, just check out the Shiloh forums. I shoot paper patch in a couple of .45-110's as well as other cartridges.
In a rifle with a modern grease groove chamber you can get quite good accuracy with something like this:
.45 Basic Norma brass. Full length size the case and do not expand. You'll find that the case mouth inside diameter will be nearly perfect for a bore diameter patched bullet.
Fill the case with Fg powder to just short of the case mouth. Use a 0.030" wad, 1/8" lube cookie of your favorite lube, and another wad of 0.030".
The powder charge will want to be compressed such that after the wad is inserted you have .010" left in the case to seat a bullet.
Wrap a .442" to .446" bullet (I use various moulds fom Buffalo Arms cast in 20:1) with 8 or 9 lb onion skin paper such that, when dry, the wrapped bullet measures very close to bore diameter.
Finger seat it into the case and you are done.
You can buy moulds, paper patch templates, and paper from Buffalo Arms.
Paper patching isn't the tricky thing that some make it out to be. But it's not for everyone.
Just jump right in. The water is warm
