Hello everyone....Been awhile since I was on here....Hope to be back more often from now on.

My question for some of you more skilled or experinced....One time I had a fellow tell me how to figure out the load data for a heavyer bullet.
I mean like I have some  Trailboss powder I want to use with a 500 grain bullet, but the load data does not include the 500 weight. It only goes to 4 something...
So if anyone of you know how to figure this I woud greatly appreciate it...I guess I have losy my old notes on this...Thanks again..John Cool

Give Hogdon a call, they may tell you the formula which they told me,  mark the case where the bullet would seat when in the case, mark, load case with tb to the mark ,dump weigh, then start with 75 percent of this to start.  This is from memory so If I were yor call em..
I have tried TB, but now use Unique for light loads even for 500 yd  plinking, got my info from old Lyman books like number 40 to number 45 books, if you would like my loads, email me... I have them for 32-40, 38-55, 40-65, and 45-70..and I do not use any fillers or wads keeps fron rings in the chamber.. Good luck..

thanks for the reply..Sounds simalar to what I was told...But I think there is another way as well....Seems to me that if a 475 grain took ,say 50 grains you would use like 45 to start with if using a 500 grain or something like that..It;s been a long time ago..Thanks again for the reply..John
