"post a pic of the extractor/breech arrangement on your Miroku Low Wall"    sadly I can't do that.  It was stolen out of my van.  Angry I never got even a full season of shooting out of it.

Ballards may be weaker,

I owned a Win Hi Wall with #4 barrel in .22 short also, and it far outshot my Low Wall in .22 short, but it had a bit nicer looking bore.
I've never had any ignition problems with either 1885 I owned in original configuration. I didn't care for the extraction on the High Wall. and it was a pain to load/unload.
Many years ago I owned a CC Johnson custom Hi Wall that had the right side of the receiver cut away to aid in loading. Worked very nicely, but I could never get past looking at the big cutout in the receiver so I ended up trading it for a nice original Stevens 44. A decision I've always regretted.
