ruptured cases

Hi
Was shooting up the remains of a box of Remington Golden bullets from a bulk pack I bought during the amo shortage.
Has anyone else had this problem?

Years ago with a case of standard Vel (blue box). I contacted Remington and sent in the ruptured cases and about a half a case of unfired. I got a new case back and a letter that said they checked the ammo and it fell within there spec. Stuff blew the rims in pistols, rifles did not matter. Letter appeared to be a nice liability wavier to me. I also had a CCI mini mag blow a Browning 22 BLR a part (pretty weak breech block) when it blew out the rim. Only issue I had with the Mini mags, I would try several guns to make sure it isn't a head space issue (use stronger guns not a BLR) then let Remington Know

I had a CCI pistol target short blow out yesterday and another that sounded very hot.  Gas escaped like the pictures shown above.
Was using a BSA #12. Strange.  Undecided

On my last experience with Remington target not being very consistant  I restocked my can amo with cci. I recently aquired a Remington 121 and shot this stuff to see if it was usable. Top 2 rows from the Remington bottom row from Beretta mod 72 auto It realy eats the stuff fast. I dont think it is worth the effort to confront remington as I have already made up my mind to switch to CCI. I just posted this incase anyone had any laying around. I would be very careful in what you shoot it in. My #4 RB or crackshot will not see it.

Your pictures are blowing out on the firing pin which is different then any of mine. My failures were due to the formed edge section of the rim failing I assume from a weakness created during forming. I wonder about a combination of your firing pin maybe being a little long and soft brass or hot charge? have you experienced this in only this rifle? What were these fired in, firing pin seems in a little off of rim.

top 2 rows shot in a Remington 141 pump gun bottom row in a Beretta  mod.72 auto pistol. Both have a similiar firingpin profile.
