Disclaimer:  I have no stake in Jamison, and no inside information on what is going on other than what has already been stated in this thread.  Read the complaint in the link above, and read between the lines, and you can see what is going on.

Note that the plaintiff in the case states that they are a member of Jamison International.  They are using the corporations and LLC in their suit in a way to that makes it seem like a simple default on contract, when in fact this is really a split in partnership.  Both parties brought things into the partnership, and now they disagree.  If there is money lost due to business losses, court costs, etc, this suit would try to get the other side to absorb all the losses. The other side of the suit may have similar representations, contracts and agreements to their favor.  Rather than trying them in a court of public opinion, let the courts sort it out, and the chips fall where they will.  Our legal system is designed to do just that, but it is expensive, difficult and time consuming.  Neither side will come out winners from this process.

No matter how the suit goes, we have lost a quality supplier of hard to find brass.

Can't disagree, but as slowly as civil courts function, it may be years before anything gets resolved.   Don't ask me how I know. . . .

Nothing good rarely comes from lawyers being involved. Sad.
