Dale Reynolds shot Three 250's in the first 45 min relay, Friday at Beeson Range.
Two Daily Bench agg targets, and One Schoyen, 10 shot for score, the 10 shot group on the Schoyen target measured a .656,  .001 over his group on a score target.

Great shooting! Time to graduate to CBA competition.  A SS shooter wades in and shows the CBA guys how to do it.  I like the idea.  Smiley Smiley

KAF the 10 shot group that measured .656 that Dale shot was it shot at 200yds and if so did it surpass Jim Borton's accomplishments in regards to the famous C.W. Roland group?

John:

Dale's groups were all shot at 200 yds. with 15 - 18 mph winds (switchy).

Dunno what the case/loads were but DaleR uses a modern single shot he built himself from some castings--if I recall it correctly.  He's really talented, and not just as a shooter.   He's also incredible patient in waiting for " conditions" before tripping the trigger.

Dale shoots a Western New York Schuetzen Society action. Only a few of them were made up some time ago. It was a design by Waren Greatback, drop block design.  I hope Dale let's me know if I am incorrect on that info.
It is a 30 cal something...I am not sure what it is called for sure.
YES the group Dale shot some years back,  (.655),was on a score target and it broke all records on a group on a score target, it was not a kelly target, but I feel 10 shots on any target which measured that small is something to be remembered in the records.

I truly think Dale has a deal with some entity that lets hims read the wind as he does, not sure where His soul will go......
He has taught me much about the breezes that effect the bullet flight. And it has helped greatly.

For the record, Dale works extremely hard with wind doping, I have seen things that can not be done, done by him shooting.  He has called shots I made by just watching the conditions when I shot, and been correct.
