Where can I find Black Powder cartridge rifle  trajectory tables ?  For the fun of it ,today I was trying to hit a target at 200 yards with my 38-40 Uberti Low Wall . At 100 yrds I think I'am dropping around 3.5 " at 200 yrds could not even get on the paper . Loading a 175 gr. bullet from a Lyman mould  with Goex 2f powder FPS around 1250 . Thanks .

Needed are sight height above bore and estimates of ballistic coefficient and MV-then a table to any range can be produced easily. It was aaid here that the change from 100 to 200 yards is ~ 1 revolution on an STS style scope, which is ~ 12.5 moa. Dead on at 100 yards will be 25" low at 200 yards. This with ~1100-1200fps blunty BC ~.2-.3 bullets. I checked and this seems to be correct.

I used to keep a computer ballistics program, Ohler program thats no longer suported, was in Dos.  Now mostly refer to Lyman's cast bullet handbook.

Some things are always about the same though. Most black powder bullets need to have 12 moa added 100 to 200 meters.   200- 300 -385 another 12 for each distance. 385 to 500 I usually add 15 moa

Sighted a guy in our club buffalo the other day. He was lost at 500 meters. Got him to shoot our 200 yard dirt berm dead center with 12 moa on his 100 yard sight. Then walked out to the 547 yard buff same way shooting at the berms adding 12 moa at each distance with 15 last jump. He hit the Buff first shot. with only 5 rounds expended walking out to get the setting
