Using the RCBS 312gr 378312 2-cavity mold and a 40-1 mix (that's what was handy) the top grease-groove and nose of the bullet are slumped off to one side. Enough that it is visible to eye  and also is difficult to get through the 0.377" lube/sizing die once it hits the top grease-groove. As both bullets in the 2-cavity mold come out the same way, am wondering if it is something I'm doing or could it be a bad mold? Am new at this game. Can post a pic if that would help. Thanks.

That is a new one on me!
Is it possible that the alloy is too hot when the bullets are dropped from the mould?  Or are the vent lines not functional on that end of the bullet mould?  Is this a base pour mould?
If you have some pics, that would be something to see.

Keep on hav'n fun!

It could possibly be Zinc contamination. It's the worst thing you can get in your lead and try to cast.

Are you dropping the bullets onto a thick towel, or a hard surface?  If so perhaps the noses may be bending as you drop them?
