John,

You wrote that you were trimming the rims on .30-30 cases.  My Haenel Original System Aydt swallows the whole .30-30 case with no trimming of either neck or rims.  My Martini is very fussy, but not the Aydt.

Waterman, in this Aydt if memory serves me, I had to reduce the rim 0.003.

I agree with Frank.  I had my best luck with 4227-14grs. This is my Aydt. You might want to try it.

Continued testing of the Aydt using NRA Maintenance Target:
08/30/11 ... 200yds
12.8gr 300-MP - BACO 319180 - Fed GM215M
... 5 shots: 2 Centers - Two 10 ring - One 9 Ring
Next loads: 13.3 and 13.8gr 300-MP

5 Shot Groups - 200yds
Lyman 319227 - 16.6gr Rx7 - Rem 9 1/2 - Poor
BACO 319180 - 11.5gr 4227 - Rem 2 1/2 - Fair
BACO 319180 - 13.5gr SR4759 - Rem 2 1/2 - Fair
Fair = Wide 6 ring to 9 ring

John Boy you need to try the Winchester Large Rifle Magnum Primers with the 300MP none of the others worked for me in both the 32-40 & 38-55.
