His gunsmithing ability is the stuff of legends. If you are a competitive shooter, this is the guy you want to set up your rifle  Wink

Crash  Do you have his new Florida address?  He retired and moved to Boca, but I lost the slip of paper he gave me.

His first name is Harlow. With a name like that he should be easy to find on the white pages site. If you find it post it so we all will know.

Make sure you verify his ID.

I've heard that he's had plastic surgery a couple of times, and could look like just about anyone by now.     Wink

There are many graduates of the Parkenfarker Institute of Gunsmithing and Plumbing Repair. Harlow's breakthrough was using a pipe wrench to remove barrels just like a drainpipe. You can easily find his graduates in  bigbox sporting goods stores. His work is not confined to single shots as I saw a pump shotgun that he cleverly had replaced the magazine with a piece of pipe. The chrome on that pipe really made that baby stand out.

Beware of those passing their work off as authentic Parkenfarkers!!!! Their are literally thousands of would be Parkenfarker guns, but a keen eye will quickly notice the true Parkenfarker!

Reminds me of the young gunsmith that worked in the bigbox store in the un-named largest city in KS several years ago. Apparently he made the astounding discovery that he could make excellent money selling new and used guns owned by the store on his own. Last we heard was that he had taken off to parts unknown with the ATF boys a few hours behind. Not sure if they were all on horses or not.
