I missed this, was this in the Journal, I don't see it on the web page? Was it a postal?

Frank I get the 25 ring center at 1/4 inch bigger in MOA than other ASSRA targets.  Rimfire bullet is the same size short or long distance so cutting the edge is a bit easier. In practice scores are generally higher than outdoor matches, no conditions short distance most rifles shoot well and little bit larger scoring rings

It's great practice and a good match. Misses are yours not caused by outside condions.

I'm not sure that I'm following you, Boats. Are you saying that the 25 ring is .125 (1/6th the .75 100 yd target) plus .25 or .375 total center dia.?

The 25 ring is 1/4", 24 ring 1/2", etc. I think it's actually a 25yd. target; but that's what we use. Black to 18 ring, and then a 19 ring, and then nothing.

Thank you for the info. I'd like to try it at our 50 ft indoor range. Based on the 1/4" center, it's 1/3 the 100 yard or 100 ft scale. It would be good to try at the out door range for 100 ft as a aid, too.

I left out the comma.  25 ring is 1/4 inch, bigger in moa than the other targets.

It's a good target at 50 feet and ought to be good at 75 too.  Outdoors a good pratice target is the offical ASSRA 50 yard.  Short enough conditons are not a big factory but scaled just like the longer range targets.
