Hello, everyone.  Now I realize John Boy is attempting to re-create the B.P. .22 L.R., But this reloading of rimfires goes back to nearly the begining of the .22 gallery match.  Gary Quinlan had a cased Pope Stevens with a few boxes of primed-empty ,22 L.R. cases.  Included in set was a Pope mould for casting a 40gr. heeled bullet.  Not sure what powders they used..fine black, semi-smokeless?  The practice was still being carried out up into the 1930's..all in an attempt to improve factory accuracy.
